Our division welcomes members from other divisions to move to ours. Transferring to the Netherlands division is subject to several restrictions imposed by IVAO-HQ and/or NL HQ. For every transfer request we will follow the next four steps. All steps are completed in order and the transfer will only be successful if no objections arise in any step.

The transfer request has to be sent by the member according to the rules laid down by IVAO-HQ. These can be found on the forum. In certain special cases NL HQ and HQ Membership Department may waive the 12 months requirement. If the member sends the request in correct format we will continue processing the transfer request.

For every transfer request we will look at your motivation. If no motivation is found in the request or if the motivation does justify the transfer, we will stop the request.

NL HQ will perform a so called background check on your profile. The requirement for a successful application is that you have no suspensions of more than 24 hours during the last 6 months on the history. If any other suspensions are noted, NL HQ will check whether they are acceptable for a division transfer. Only if this stage is completed we will continue with the next step.

If your last ATC rating (ADC or higher) has been obtained in another division, the NL Trainings Department will perform a check out to verify that your performance is up to par. This check out will be performed on an aerodrome and position to be selected by the NL Training Department. If the check out is passed successfully, the member is allowed to transfer to our division. In case you fail the check out you have the choice to either withdraw your transfer request or to give up your rating. In the latter case, step 4 of this procedure starts again.
